POCKET 34: created to answer the growing need for great ball control and its superior accuracy for the Elite Player. Designed to hold the ball in place like a vise, enabling players to run through double and triple teams, endure those vicious (malicious) checks and to rip a shot top shelf….where mama hides the cookies. |

“The Pocket 34 that Lyle strings is hands down the best string job I have ever seen. In the 15 years I have played lacrosse, it is easily the best pocket I have ever played with. I love the release; it is fast and extremely accurate. I will never play with another pocket again.”

“Having helped Lyle Tomlinson develop the original Pocket 34, I have an innate understanding of why all of the pros have been using his style of stringing. The pocket was developed to give guys that are both feeders and shooters a nice mix of hold (when shooting and cradling) and release (when passing and feeding). This mix primarily stems from the patented tight V formation. With the tight V, the ball never gets hung up under the throw strings, which is a big problem when a shooter tries to make a pass. The ball actually gets caught in the V with about 1-2 inches of room before hitting the top of the V, this allows for a gradual release. But, if you give the stick one good crank, the ball will get stuck in that V and give you more whip and power on your shot. So you are getting the best of both worlds….shooting and feeding. The fact that the mesh is strung to the outside of the sidewalls, gives today’s sticks, which are quite narrow through the middle, a nice open feel, where the ball won’t get stuck in the V because the head is too narrow. Lastly, the top strings are strung in such a way that there is no gap between the mesh and the plastic, which is key for a nice easy release. I have been playing with this pocket from its inception, and believe it is the premier pocket on the market for those players that have an all around game.”

"Pocket 34 is the vehicle to take your game to the next level. It is hands down the best pocket on the market today. P34 provides the perfect combination of hold, feel, and release that all lacrosse players are looking for in a pocket. I will never use another pocket again."

"Pocket 34 enabled me to transition from a traditionally leather strung pocket to mesh seamlessly without sacrificing the characteristics I preferred in the traditional system. Lyle’s technology creates unparalleled ball control within the pocket. I am able to release the ball both from an under handed motion as well as an over handed with equal accuracy. In addition, I am able to cradle and carry the ball from virtually any angle without loosing control of the ball. With Pocket 34 you always know that the ball will remain still in your stick until you are ready to unleash it. It changed my life, enough said."
