Welcome to SHOOTERZ Lacrosse!!!

Shooterz Lacrosse was founded in 2003. Our program has grown from a traveling club team (which provided opportunities for players to participate in Regional Lacrosse Tournaments) to hosting off-season leagues (instructional opportunities), private lessons and much more for San Diego Youth – High School Players.

The name Shooterz Lacrosse came from the most dominate Post Collegiate Club Team in Southern California, Cuervo Shooters (80’s and 90’s) in the West Coast. This team comprised of many NCAA Collegiate All Americans, local club college grads and coaches; most of whom played and coached at SDSU. Throughout the years of growing up and watching our high school coaches, college coaches and mentors play and the name just stuck in our heads. We wanted to carry the name in remembrance in what/who has given us so many opportunities on and off the field.

Our Off-season Leagues allows players to play year round, whether your just beginning- advanced. We are committed to giving back to the community that has given so much to us. All of our programs emphasize the importance of sportsmanship, citizenship and leadership, which are important on and off the field. We believe that by developing team play and individual skills, the growth in each player’s abilities and confidence will take their play to the next level. Our off-season leagues include a Fall Indoor League, Winter and Summer Outdoor Leagues.

Our High School Club Travel Team Program offers intensified practices, scheduled games with other club teams, and play in competitive tournaments and/or festivals. In addition to the development opportunities provided by the high level competition, tournament and festival play at the elite level provides individual exposure to college lacrosse coaches from around the country, who are increasingly recruiting top California LAX talent, especially San Diego, for a wide range of college teams from club to NCAA.

SHOOTERZ offers renowned Stick Stringing Services – some of the best stringers on the West Coast are on staff (as quoted in Inside Lacrosse Magazine)! Players from Virginia (2006 National Champions) to the Pro’s, as well as middle and high school level players from around the country are using customized pockets created by our staff.

Skillz n Drillz is our newest instructional program that allows us to work with individuals and/or teams teaching the basics (catching, throwing, dodging, shooting, etc..) too X’s and O’s. Our popularity has driven us to host clinics throughout So Cal, Nor Cal and Arizona. Skillz n Drillz is not only for the players, but coaches as well. Girls expansion, was finally introduced to our programs in the Fall of 2010, from the demand of parents and players.
