How much does it cost?
The cost of our camps varies. Please go to the specific camps page to find out its cost.

Do offer Scholarships?
We do offer full partial scholarships and are very limited. Please go to the SCHOLARSHIP Section of our site.

What is your policy on refunds?
Summer Camp refunds are net of the non-refundable deposit of $200, will be allowed up to 7 days prior to the start of camp. No refunds are available thereafter except for cancellation in the case of a verified hardship or injury. The maximum refund in such issues will be no more of 50% and/or prorated depending on leave of absence from camp, of amounts paid and only the registrants or their families have made such occurrences known to Shooterz before the end of the camp for which the registrant is registered for. Refunds are for available to original registrations only. Campers who do not check in-in will lose all fees paid.

How come I didn’t receive a confirmation?
Sometime emails get filtered into the spam/junk folder. You may have to check this folder from time to time. If this not the case please contacts us right away.

How come the registration page doesn’t show up on my browser?

Is there water provided at the sites?
Yes, the facilities for our camps have water sources.

What ages are there for your camps?
There are many different age groups that we offer, but we classify and break the kids up by grade level, middle school (entering) 6th - 8th grade high school 9- 12th. Please contact us if you have any further questions.

Is there a refrigerator in the room?
Some of the dormitories do have a small refrigerator. You may want to contact the specific camp to see if this is the case.

What equipment should I bring?
You need to bring with you all the necessary (mandatory) equipment needed to play. Boys; Helmet, Shoulder Pads, Arm pads, Gloves, Stick, Mouth Piece and Protective Cup, Cleats. Girls; Goggles, Mouth Piece, Stick, and Cleats. Shooterz Lacrosse does not provide equipment for camp, although we do have a limited supply of equipment that you may rent for a small fee (to be discussed at time of rental).

Are there any discounts available?
The discounts that are offered for our camps are for multiple siblings, groups of 5 or team of 13 participants participating in our camps. When you register for multiple siblings it will discount it for you. For Group and Team Discounts please call us first in order to register. The amount of the discount will depend on how many siblings, groups are signing up. Other discounts offered by Shooterz are exclusive of each other.

When is the registration deadline and when do we have to pay?
We accept registration right up till the start of camp where openings exist. If we have space for you to join then you will be able to join, even if camp has already started. Summer Camps have a $200 dollar non-refundable deposit upon registration and the balance is due upon five days before camp starts.

What level of play is Shooterz Lacrosse Camps for?
We have players from beginning to advance, middle to high school. Our camps are not specifically designed just for one level of play. We take pride in making you a better player, no matter if you’re a beginner or the star player on your team.

What are the game rules?
All the same rules apply that you abide by during the Spring Season, when you play on your normal team.

Are there trainers at camp?
Yes, we do have certified athletic trainers at our camp locations. The trainer will provide any necessary and appropriate treatment as he/she sees fits.

Where do the overnight campers reside?
All campers, staff, directors will reside in the dormitories at the overnight camps. Most of the dorms are air conditioned, however please be sure to check your particular camp to make sure this is the case. If air conditioning is not available fans are allowed.

How many campers per room?
Most of the overnight camp dormitories have two campers per room. However it may vary at the different facilities. Some of the dormitories have suites where multiple rooms are available.

How do I contact a staff member while my son is at camp?
Upon check in at camp, the camp director will have their direct number on hand to give to a parent and/or guardian. You may also contact us at the main number listed on our site and/or wherever you see it listed.

Is there 24 hour supervision?
Shooterz Lacrosse Camp Staff is on duty 24 hours a day, on the field, in the dormitories, in the cafeteria, at the pool, wherever our campers are present during our camps. And is unparalleled to any other camp… In addition, most overnight camp facilities have a 24 hour campus safety patrol and/or campus police security. All day camps have full supervision.

What do campers bring?
Overnight campers:
Water bottle, sunscreen, (sheets, pillow and blanket) or sleeping bag, toiletries, boardies (swim trunks)/ bathing suit, towel, plenty of socks, jacket….and of course your lacrosse equipment

Day Campers:
Sack lunch, water bottle, sunscreen and of course your lacrosse equipment.

Is the food good at the overnight camps?
Yes, most of the facilities we eat at have great meals for us to eat.

Will there be a camp store and how much do I need to bring?
Most of our overnight camps will have a small camp store with assorted clothing and lax equipment. UC Santa Barbra and San Diego State University has an onsite camp store that carries most of your drinks and/or munchies. Pizza and/or other items will be available for purchase after the evening field session. The calculated amount of money to bring is approx $8- $15 day.

When do we check in and out?
At some camps the check-in and check-out time may vary, due to time restrictions.
Overnight campers:
Check in times are from 12/noon- 1pm on the first day.
Check out times are from 12/noon- 1pm of the last day.

Extended day campers:
Check in times are from 12/noon- 1pm on the first day.
The next 3 days are at 8:30am and leave at 8:30pm.
Check out time are at 12/noon

If I am flying in, what do I do?
Our camps are conveniently located near a major airport. You would need to make sure that you have ample time to get to camp right before check in and schedule your departure after check out time. Please visit the traveling to camp tab.

What happens if there is bad weather?
Shooterz Lacrosse will always be prepared to have the something for our campers to do. In the event of severe lighting and/or extreme heat we will not train outside

What do the campers do in their free time and/ or in the evening?
The fun/ learning do not stop on the field it only begins… We have numerous things planned for our campers:

  • Movies
  • Game films
  • Pool, foosball, ping pong
  • Swimming pool
  • Stick stringing
  • College talk (coaches stories as a player and/or coach)
  • And other fun events….

 

What are the camp rules?
Shooterz camp rules are very simple ones to abide by, listed below are just a few:

  • Respect others as you want to be respected
  • No drugs and/or alcohol and will be dismissed form camp without a refund
  • No ball playing in the dorms
  • No cleats in the dorm
  • No venturing off/ out of camp boundaries
  • No foul language

Can parents/ families watch/ visit their son/s and/or daughter/s during a field session while at camp?

Parents/ family members are encouraged to attend especially in the evening as we close out the day and/or the last day of camp with game/s. Parents/ family members are to check in and out with the director if visiting during the day of camp. Friends of campers are not permitted at anytime, unless accompanied by an adult.
