Traveling to Camp
Campers can travel to camp in various ways:
- Dropped off by parents, highly recommended.
- Drive themselves and keys will be required to be turned into camp director. This will ensure that each camper stay on campus and not to stray away at anytime. The camp and/or University are not responsible for theft or vandalism to any vehicle while they are parked at camp. A parking permit will be issued.
- Car pool with others, highly recommended.
- By plane.
- By train.
Traveling by airplane:
- All air arrivals must arrive at the designated airport (San Diego or Santa Barbara) between 10am- 12/noon. Air flight information needs to be confirmed ASAP (airline, flight number and time of arrival), so we can coordinate the proper transportation needed.
- All campers will meet and greet other campers and Shooterz Staff to be shuttled over to camp for check in.
- There is a $25 charge each way to and from the airport to be paid to the driver.
- All air departures should be scheduled approx 2pm or later.
Traveling by train:
- All train arrivals must arrive at the designated train station (San Diego or Santa Barbara) between 10am- 12/noon. Arrival information needs to be confirmed ASAP (train number and time of arrival), so we can coordinate the proper transportation needed.
- All campers will meet and greet other campers and Shooterz Staff to be shuttled over to camp for check in.
